Job Description
Awesome RV is looking for a hardworking and dependable entrylevel or experienced service technician for our RV dealership. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical plumbing HVAC electrical and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful Service Technician will have a strong attention to detail be selfmotivated and familiar with maintenance and repairs. Experience is a plus but WILLING TO TRAIN the right motivated individual that is willing to seek certification. Skills you will learn to use are Plumbing LP gas and electrical repair light cabinet repair wheel bearing and brake service accessory installation and other activities associated with servicing and maintaining our valued customers recreational vehicles. Essential Job Functions:
Provide & document complete diagnostic test & repair or replacement services to customers
Perform electrical plumbing carpentry & appliance maintenance
Track all parts & materials used in repairs or replacements
Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards & is inspected by supervisor or team lead
Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand walk and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
- Flexibility to work in various positions such as kneeling bending and reaching.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and under vehicles.
- Excellent handeye coordination and manual dexterity for precise repairs.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment required for automotive repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and focus to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including exposure to heat cold and noise.
