The Development Associate is a key position as the first point of contact for visitors and callers and as a collaborative and professional partner of the Operations team.
Reporting to the Director of Development OperationstheDevelopment Associate is also responsible formanaging the departments conference rooms and handling some activitiesrelated to office administration.

Major Duties:
- Provideprofessional pleasant and helpful customer service to callers visitors and Development staffcommunicating in a warm and courteous manner
Appropriately triage internal and external requests following established procedures
Perform simultaneous tasks and execute sound judgment during busy times
Manage the following Outlook accounts:
Development Office general email account (answering and triaging inquiries dependent upon subject matter)
Scheduling of all departmental conference rooms
Development Operations account (answering and triaging inquiries)
Monitor and followup on all voicemails received after hours
Maintain the front desk and lobby area in a professional manner
Complete credit card transactions by phone for donors in compliance with policies and procedures
Update donor records in Raisers Edge as appropriate
Receive and distribute packages delivered to the office following office procedures
Handle the distribution and tracking of parking and taxi vouchers
Manage the reservation and sign up process of office laptops projectors and other related office equipment
Update intranet and SharePoint pages managed by the Operations team including updates to staff directory
Assist with drafting general Operations related announcements and various office protocols as needed
Liaise with appropriate hospital staff on matters related to maintenance and repairs
Assist the Director of Operations and other members of the Operations team with administrative support and projects as needed
