Overview:
Audacy Sacramento is looking for sales professionals ready to lead in the evolution of audio. With the scale of the second largest audio group in the US hundreds of events and the FASTEST growing audio app in the nation we are growing our team!
We are looking for an Account Executive who not only possesses a passion for creating solutions and delivering client success but also has an appreciation for how music podcasting wellknown personalities and events connect with audiences. There has never been more time spent creating meaningful connections in the audio space than now. Our awardwinning podcasts feed passions and our epic concerts and experiences create memories that last a lifetime.
As an Account Executive at Audacy you will have the opportunity to champion six powerhouse radio stations extensive digital marketing assets widely attended events with unique sponsorship opportunities and our ecommerce platform. In addition to selling within the local Sacramento market you will have access to Audacys extensive reach nationwide selling across all 48 Audacy markets. Of course our Audacy Account Executives are handsomely compensated with an attractive base salary plus commission along with potential for bonus compensation!

This is a hybrid role based out of our Audacy Sacramento office in Roseville.

Responsibilities
What Youll Do:
- Primary focus will be to proactively develop new business and build strong relationships with local/regional decisionmakers with the goal of converting them to repeat clients
- Create strategic and creative multiplatform multichannel advertising campaigns that leverage the broad reach of overtheair audio streaming targeted digital solutions killer lifestyle events and ecommerce
- Bring innovative marketing ideas to life that make a difference for your clients and their businesses while also having the ability to sell on a national level
- Continuously learn and train on new assets and marketing techniques
- Close business and oversee the of the marketing campaign and exceed client expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the campaign lifecycle
- Achieve sales objectives and assigned goals
- Continuously build your knowledge of industry trends opportunities and innovations
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3 years in media sales (broadcast radio and digital media preferred) and experience with prospecting/coldcalling
- A hunter mentality with the ability to proactively generate new business and manage the full sales cycle. Proven track record of exceeding goals and renewing business
- Relevant relationships with local and national advertising clients/agencies to call on from day 1
- Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing especially in digital audio and interactive
- A creative and strategic mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs
- A solutions and goaloriented mindset youre someone who identifies a problem as an opportunity to develop business.
- Proficiency in Google Suite MS Office programs SalesForce Media Monitors Xray Nielsen Google Analytics Google Ads (SEM) Facebook Ads
- A positive attitude and a desire to continuously grow your income
- Ability to be inperson in our Sacramento office in Roseville for a minimum of 3 days/week (Tues Wed Fri)
- A valid drivers license satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check. If the position requires use of the applicants own vehicle proof of insurance is required.
Additional Information
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated starting base salary range for California based individuals expressing interest in this position is $40000 to $75000 plus commission (anticipated ontargetearnings is $80000.00$150000.00. Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills abilities and location of the applicant as well as internal and external equity.
