Were partnering with a leading oil & gas company seeking a Pipeline Engineer to drive pipeline design installation and field operations. What Youll Do
Pipeline Design & Engineering Analysis
- Design comprehensive pipeline systems for oil and gas transportation projects
- Perform hydraulic calculations and pressure drop analysis for optimal flow characteristics
- Develop detailed pipeline routing studies and alignment drawings
- Conduct pipeline stress analysis and structural integrity assessments to ensure safety and reliability
Field Operations & Construction Management
- Support field installation and construction activities from planning to execution
- Monitor pipeline construction progress and implement quality assurance protocols
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for seamless project delivery
Technical Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and material requisitions
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards including ASME API and DPR regulations
- Develop and maintain technical drawings and project documentation
- Interface with regulatory bodies and maintain standards adherence throughout project lifecycle

Requirements
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Petroleum Chemical Mechanical or related Engineering field from a reputable institution (minimum Second Class Upper)
- 4-7 years of cognate experience in design field execution or technical roles in oil and gas industry
- COREN registration or registration in progress
- Proven expertise in pipeline design and field operations
What You Bring
- Experience with pipeline design software (CAESAR II AutoPIPE or similar platforms)
- Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline codes and standards (ASME B31.4 B31.8 API standards)
- E3D/PDMS modeling experience is a significant advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawings and design documentation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in challenging field environments
