Transportation ManagerPosition OverviewStatus: ExemptReports to: Director of OperationsThe Transportation Manager at Kents Hill School is charged with overseeing both the safety and the efficiency of the schools fleet of vehicles. This position requires: an excellent working knowledge of vehicle mechanics; excellent attention to detail in order to keep all vehicles in excellent working order and in compliance with local and state requirements; the ability to manage seamlessly the logistics of fleet management amidst the busy life of a residential school; finally the ability to collaborate with flexibility and good humor with both staff and students in order to meet their transportation needs. In doing all of the above Kents Hills Transportation Manager plays a critical role in supporting the life of the school.ResponsibilitiesMaintain all vehicles ensuring that vehicles are properly maintained. Maintain uptodate records and registrations on the schools fleet.
