Basic Function
You have reached an exciting and pivotal stage in your education and career. At LyondellBasell we are dedicated to finding and developing the future leaders of our company with handson experience and onsite education with experts in the field. We are looking for a Summer Intern to join our Security Operations Center team in Poznan.
Roles & Responsibilities
Facilitate security assessments of threats and vulnerabilities
Identify deviation from acceptable security baselines
Assist in managing security processes and procedures that include endpoint protection
Perform historical analysis of logs associated with security events to assist in threat detection
Assist with vulnerability management functions
Monitor security events to identify anomalies and possible incidents within the network
Participate in reviews and updates of security operations playbooks support documentation and standard operating procedures
Deliver a project that improves the cybersecurity program and therefore positively influences the Companys risk profile
Min. Qualifications
Student preferably of Information Technology IT Security Information Management studies
Advanced English skills
Approximately 1 year remaining until graduation.
Exhibit passion and dedication to the information security profession
Possess a good understanding of foundational security principles with confidentiality integrity and availability
Broad understanding of the cyber security threat landscape and available tools
Must be able to manage small tasks and participate in larger teams
Must be able to manage deadlines execute on plans and act with a sense of urgency
Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to organize daily tasks
Availability of 40h weekly in the summer.
