Job Purpose
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth across the organization s diverse product portfolio which includes car accessories plastic parts and FMCG products such as fragrances and perfumes. The role encompasses both Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket segments ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master s degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field.
- 20 years of marketing leadership experience preferably in the manufacturing sector with exposure to OEM and aftermarket markets.
- Proven track record of managing diverse product portfolios and driving revenue growth.
- Strong expertise in brand management digital marketing and customer engagement strategies.
- Experience in launching and scaling FMCG products particularly fragrances and perfumes is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy that caters to both OEM and aftermarket segments ensuring alignment with the organization s business goals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team providing insights on market trends competitive analysis and customer behavior.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities optimizing product positioning and enhancing market share.
Brand Management
- Build and maintain a consistent and strong brand identity across all product categories and markets.
- Lead branding initiatives to position the organization as a trusted partner for OEMs and a preferred choice in the aftermarket.
- Oversee product messaging positioning and promotional activities to ensure differentiation and customer loyalty.
Market Segmentation and Product Marketing
- Develop tailored marketing strategies for OEM and aftermarket customers addressing their unique needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to align product features with customer and market requirements.
- Plan and execute gotomarket strategies for new product launches ensuring effective penetration in both segments.
Sales Enablement and Channel Management
- Work closely with the sales team to develop tools campaigns and presentations that drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Strengthen relationships with OEM clients aftermarket distributors and key stakeholders to expand market reach.
- Optimize pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability across segments.
Digital Marketing and ECommerce
- Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO SEM social media and content marketing to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Expand and optimize ecommerce channels for FMCG products ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- Leverage analytics to measure and improve the performance of digital campaigns.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs preferences and emerging trends in both OEM and aftermarket sectors.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and inform decisionmaking.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build and lead a highperforming marketing team with expertise in OEM aftermarket and FMCG segments.
- Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and accountability within the marketing department.
- Set clear goals KPIs and performance metrics for the team to achieve organizational objectives.
