Our Assistant Cook works in LongTerm Care Facilities Retirement Homes and License Child Care Centers settings throughout the Greater Toronto Area York Region Peel Region and Durham Region. The more shift you work the more you earn with our shift bonus structure. Pick up more than10 shifts per month youll qualify for higher hourly pay. Our Assistant Cooks hourly rate starts at $18.00/hour.
The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Prepares meals and ensuring all dietary needs are met
- Ensures everyone is satisfied with all aspects of food prepared and presentations
- Operates and cleans food production equipment and food preparation areas
Requirements:
- Work experience as an assistant cook making large quantities of hot and cold food
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Food Handlers Certificate
- A cleared background check via CheckR (more instructions will be provided. CheckR is a FREE background check BookJane conducts
