Job Description
Field Service Technician / Battery Technician / Electrical Technician required for a UPS systems provider.
The successful Field Service Technician / Battery Technician / Electrical Technician will be responsible for carrying out routine battery maintenance and electrical maintenance to end user clients contractors and subcontractors across the Home Counties (Hampshire East Sussex West Sussex Kent Essex Bedfordshire Buckinghamshire London Surrey Oxfordshire).
The successful Field Service Technician / Battery Technician / Electrical Technician will have a handson electrical background and be willing to travel within the Home Counties and UK.
Package
- Overtime 15 shift allowances
- Company vehicle
Role
- Carrying out routine battery and electrical maintenance activities
- Electrical maintenance including but not limited to commissioning and fault diagnosis
- Ensuring standards of service are maintained and improved in line with company requirements
- Completing paperwork relating to site visits
- Typically attend sites in pairs
- No oncall duties
- Report to the Service Manager
- Covering the Home Counties (Hampshire East Sussex West Sussex Kent Essex Bedfordshire Buckinghamshire London Surrey Oxfordshire)
Requirements
- Must have a handson electrical background as a Field Service Technician Battery Technician Electrical Improver Electrical Technician Electrical Engineer or similar
- Expected to work 21 weekends out of the year (approximately every 23 weeks)
- Full UK driving license.
- Fully remote willing to cover the Home Counties in the UK (Hampshire East Sussex West Sussex Kent Essex Bedfordshire Buckinghamshire London Surrey Oxfordshire)
