About the role
The Patient Services Supervisor is responsible for delivering monitoring and enhancing patient services within St Vincents Private Hospitals by supervising and managing the bookings back office and admission function for the Hospital and thereby enabling provision of high standard of patient care within the Philosophy Mission and Values of the Sisters of Charity.
The Supervisor coordinates and supervises the daytoday Administration processes and performs hands on administrative and clerical duties to ensure all services are delivered within the scope of practice by adhering to policies and procedures of SVPHS and St Vincents Health Australia
The role requires a thorough understanding of the hospital administration from bookings admissions and discharge processes. Has Health Funds policies and Informed Financial Consent knowledge.Is able to manage ones self and the staff to create a transformational leadership environment. This position is responsible for reviewing processes and implementing quality improvements in consultation with the NSW Private Hospitals Administration State Manager
