Job Description
GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
A Carpenter Foreman position in Charleston SCis available at Garney Construction. To be considered for this position you must have previous carpentry experience. As a foreman you will coordinate operations and oversee workers at a construction site. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Follow project plans and schedules to ensure that crews meet production goals.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
- Drive job site safety and promote safety culture.
- Assist in cost control.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1 to 3 years of construction experience.
- Knowledge of construction procedures and equipment.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively.
- Ability to work from heights.
- Understand blueprint drawings and specifications.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
