Job Description:
As a result of King and Moffatt Building Services securing a number of new projects in the Dublin area we are now looking to hire experienced Mechanical Foremen to play a key role in the successful delivery of these projects.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams on-site.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project drawings specifications and Irish building regulations.
- Liaise with project managers engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor site progress productivity and quality of workmanship.
- Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Manage materials tools and equipment on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed labour hours and site issues.
- Assist in resolving technical or coordination issues on-site.
Qualifications :
- Fully qualified plumber or mechanical craftsperson with relevant certifications (e.g. Safe Pass Manual Handling).
- Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical installation with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC pipework plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working on commercial industrial or data centre projects is an advantage.
- Full clean driving licence (desirable).
