The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical designknowledge of industrial automation and an understanding of control systems.PLC programming experience is a plus as there may be opportunities to assistwith inshop programming.
This position is bound primarily to the Integrated Solutions shopat the Indianapolis location with occasional travel to customer locationsduring normal business hours. A clean driving record is required. This rolecomes with a competitive compensation plan and as well as excellent benefits.
Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
Designelectrical schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
Developwiring diagrams BOMs and other documentation to support panel builds andsystem integration.
Workclosely with panel fabrication team to ensure designs meet projectspecifications.
Collaboratewith the automation team to integrate control system components.
Maintaindesign standards and best practices for electrical drawings.
Assistin inshop PLC programming when opportunities arise (not required butpreferred).
Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical EngineeringElectrical Engineering Technology Manufacturing TechnologyAutomation or related field preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
Experience in electrical design for industrial automationcontrol panels or related systems.
Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (UL 508A NECetc..
Ability to create accurate and detailed electrical schematics.
Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
PLC programming experience is a plus but not required.
Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
Must be willing to travel locally and have a clean drivingrecord.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates.
