You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Washington Department of Pediatrics Division of General Pediatrics invites applications for a full time faculty position as an Associate Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT) or Professor (WOT) on the ClinicianScholar track. Salary and academic appointment at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience qualifications and academic rank. As a Director of the ACGME Fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics in the Safe Child and Adolescent Network the successful applicant will engage in clinical work and postgraduate medical education. Anticipated start date is Winter/Spring 2024.
Associate and Full Professorshold indefinite appointments that align with a 12month service period (July 1June 30. Faculty with 12month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12month period (JulyJune) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching research and service. The successful clinicianscholar will be expected to engage in an area of scholarly activity that complements the clinical work proposed. The position includes protected time for scholarly work.
Protected administrative time will also be provided for fellowship direction. The director is expected to recruit and oversees selection of new fellows develop and maintain a curriculum of didact and experiential learning that meets ACGME requirements and provide support and mentorship to fellows as they develop clinically academically and interpersonally.
The base salary range for this position will be:Associate Professors $13441 $20161 per month $161292 $241932 annually) Professors $16729 $25093 per month $200748 $301116 annually)commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Childrens University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by Childrens University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
Other compensation associated with this position may include incentive through Childrens University Medical Group practice plan. Additional administrative responsibilities may be offered to a specific candidate with appropriate experience and qualifications which may result in an administrative supplement (ADS).
