The individual will be responsible for:
- Defining strategy targets and priorities for Planning as a Service in North America.
- Grow the logistics planning service based on new customers services and global initiatives.
- Drive digitalization and automation in logistics planning.
- Collaborate in the development and roll-out of advanced planning systems and tools (Kinaxis maestro ProCon etc).
- Motivating supporting leading and developing the team.
- Exceptional Continuous Improvement skill sets.
- Driving cost and quality improvements for Logistics Planning in North America.
- Change management.
- Improvement and development of logistics planning processes.
- Setting annual targets and goal performance dialogs with the Leadership team.
- Managing/consolidating reporting activities for the monthly business report (MBR) current forecast process (CF) target business plan (TBP) creation.
- Will travel up to 20% (Domestic (90%) and International (10%)
- Leading cross-functional teams and providing functional expertise and guidance to others with a focus on continuously improving Key Performance Indicators such as Quality Performance Costs and Productivity amongst others.
- Steering and implementing strategic initiatives that directly influence short and mid-term impact on company growth financial results customer relationships and associate relations.
- Steering innovation modernization standardization automation digitalization and other related projects or initiatives and leading their deployment or implementation.
- Steering and implementing new and upgraded ERP systems such S4HANA.
- Serving as the contact person for Planning functions ensuring internal and external targets are being met.
- Participating at high levels of the organization in making strategic decisions regarding the organizations direction.
- Managing all business relationships with plant and Internal business units leadership teams to ensure target alignment operational performance and budget preparation and achievement through weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Championing process improvements and strategic projects across North America.
- Promoting an environment of empowerment development diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business Administration Engineering or Logistics/Supply Chain Management with 6 years working experience in Supply Chain Management; OR a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Engineering or Logistics/Supply Chain Management with 8 years working experience in Supply Chain Management
- Must possess 5 years of Leadership Experience leading 30 Associates located remotely
- Experience in steering and implementing strategic initiatives
- Ability to communicate to various levels of the organization in a way that promotes empowerment and inclusion
- Ability to work under pressure for continuous periods of time
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and motivate others to execute
- Ability to influence large cross functional teams and drive changes and solutions
- Ability to well represent Source to Deliver at Board of Management level events through the use of strong and effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to objectively present a subject and engage with others in a collaborative manner
- Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working within a multi-cultural organization
- 6 years Customer Planning experience
- 3 years Purchasing experience
- 3 years Production Planning experience
- Experience in Logistics Planning including warehousing transportation and inventory planning
- Experience in end to end inventory management including production planning frozen zone determination in transit pipelines on hand inventory target definition safety stock definition as well as obsolescence and scrap avoidance
- Experience in customer release fluctuation behavior analysis and contractual terms interpretations and negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills are needed with the ability to define priorities and strategies to fulfill the targets.
- Strong continuous improvement process mindset and problem solving skills are important.
- Thorough knowledge of Logistics Planning/Manufacturing principles
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Physical Logistics and Outsourcing experience
- Talent management: recruiting talent review and assessment
- Exceptional collaborator and team player candidate must be able to work with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
- Self-motivated target oriented and organized with a strong desire to improve the business continuously.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP APO systems
- Continuous improvement process work experience

- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
- German and Spanish language skills preferred
