Job Description

We are looking for a technically skilled and servicefocused IoT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting troubleshooting and maintaining Internet of Things (IoT) devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for IoT devices networks and related hardware

  • Monitor system performance and conduct diagnostics

  • Assist with installations configurations and firmware updates

  • Troubleshoot connectivity and devicelevel issues

  • Document support tasks and escalate complex issues as needed

  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams for system improvements

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

  • A relevant qualification from a South African TVET college or university (e.g. IT Networking Electronics or related field)

  • Understanding of IoT technologies protocols and networks

  • Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP WiFi cellular)

  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
