Job Description
Are you experienced in managing energy efficiency projects across multiple sites within an international organisation Do you have practical knowledge of energy monitoring and ISO 50001 certified energy management systems If so wed be delighted to have you join us as a Senior Specialist in Global Energy Efficiency working globally in VELUX and situated at one of our factories in Poland!
At the VELUX Group we have set ambitious energy and climate targets applying a holistic approach focused on improving energy efficiency. We are focused on improving outcomes in energy efficiency and zeroemission carbon solutions through close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the business production sites and support systems.
Your Tasks
As a Senior Specialist you will join our international team within the Global Energy & Climate Department. You will manage energy efficiency projects while closely collaborating with various departments across production sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting global energy reviews and providing an overview of energy efficiency across the organization
- Acting as the lead specialist within our global Energy & Climate Auditing & Development Team supporting all factory sites with audits to promote energy efficiency improvements
- Supporting local energy reviews establishing baselines setting energy performance indicators energy monitoring & verification energy program monitoring and energy efficiency engineering
- Providing training and development for stakeholders on energy efficiency systems and engineering onsite
- Collaborating with our Supply Engineering Technical Center of Excellence to develop energy efficiency standards and implement them across technology tracks on sites
- Facilitating knowledge sharing within internal systems and networks
- Providing operational support at the global VELUX level by preparing necessary materials presentations and reports within the annual planning cycle
- Supporting the global certification process audits and recertifications in collaboration with external certification bodies
Your Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced professional who is structured systematic and adept at project management. Presentation and training skills are essential.
We also expect:
- Extensive professional experience in the field of energy efficiency
- A degree in a technical field (e.g. BSc MSc) or a similar qualification
- Knowledge in ISO 50001 systems and operations particularly within large companies
- Experience as an ISO 50001 Auditor preferably as certified lead auditor
- Familiarity with IT tools relevant to energy efficiency if applicable
- Experience in leading energy efficiency projects and managing project portfolios
- Communication skills with the ability to promptly engage propose solutions and focus on problemsolving
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal
- Previous experience in optimization projects
- Willingness to travel for business (aprox. 4050 days annualy)
