Director of Operations TMG

Onsite Las Vegas NV

About Us:

We are a rapidly expanding transportation management company with six strategically located bases across multiple states delivering reliable and efficient services to our customers. Committed to innovation customer satisfaction and operational excellence we are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to oversee and optimize our operations ensuring seamless management across all locations. With a vision to open 610 new transportation bases annually we require a highly experienced candidate with a proven track record in managing multicompany multistate operations.

About the Role:

The Director of Operations will be responsible for driving operational efficiency strategy and the overall performance of our transportation network. This role demands strong leadership deep operational expertise and the ability to streamline processes across multiple locations. The Director of Operations will collaborate closely with senior and executive management while leading a team to ensure the achievement of business objectives the maintenance of high customer satisfaction and the pursuit of operational excellence. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will manage the Executive Directors at each base.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage operations across all six multistate locations ensuring alignment with the companys mission and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency cost reduction and service excellence.
  • Supervise location leaders and support staff providing guidance training and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of safety collaboration and continuous improvement across all locations.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:

  • Monitor and optimize daytoday operations including logistics fleet management customer service dispatch and scheduling.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
  • Ensure all locations adhere to industry standards regulations and company policies.
  • Drive the use of technology and data analytics to improve operational processes and decisionmaking.

Budget & Cost Control:

  • Work with Executive Directors to develop and manage annual budgets for each location ensuring cost controls and alignment with corporate financial objectives.
  • Review and analyze financial performance taking corrective actions as needed to meet profit and performance goals.

Performance Metrics & Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly track analyze and report on operational performance.
  • Provide regular reports to the executive team on operations productivity and any potential issues requiring attention.

Customer Satisfaction & Service Excellence:

  • Oversee customer service efforts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and act as a liaison to ensure that customer needs are met consistently.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure full compliance with federal state and local transportation regulations including safety standards fleet inspections and driver qualifications.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

CrossFunctional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments (HR Sales Finance etc. at the corporate and base level to align on operational goals and provide support for new business initiatives.
  • Work closely with the corporate executive team to refine operational strategies and communicate challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in operations management preferably within the transportation logistics or supply chain industries.
  • Proven experience managing multilocation or regional operations.
  • Strong background in operational optimization cost control and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and geographies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Outlook Teams etc.
  • Exceptional analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with the ability to provide clear operational insights to executive leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Frequent travel between locations is needed (up to 5075 of the time).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
  • Experience with healthcare fleet management logistics technology and regulatory compliance preferred.

Work Location:Inperson and onsite.

Reporting: Reports directly to the TMG Chief Operating Officer.

Salary:

  • Range: $85000 $115000
  • Bonus: To be determined with potential total compensation of up to $130000
  • Salary will be commensurate with the candidates education experience and skills.
