Position Summary:
Responsible for screening and reporting of negative gynecological cytology cases.
Reports to: Supervisor Lab
FLSA: Nonexempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs procedures and protocols in Cytology Histology and Pathology.
Performs screening of gynecological and nongynecological specimens reports any negative gynecological
specimens and refers any nongynecological and abnormal gynecological specimens to the pathologist.
Performs required quality control for procedures and necessary quality assurance.
Prepares stains and solutions used in processing specimens/ slides. Correctly operates and performs
necessary maintenance on cytology equipment.
