The cytotechnologist participates in fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures to provide an immediate adequacy evaluation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: v 1. Prepare screen and evaluate gynecologic cytology specimens by microscope using the Hologic ThinPrep system - accurately transcribe and enter results into the laboratory information system (Epic). v 2. Prepare screen and evaluate non-gynecologic cytology specimens by microscope - accurately transcribe and enter results into the laboratory information system (Epic).
