Job title: Commercial Account Executive
Salary: 45000 DOE
Location: Manchester Hybrid
PURPOSE OF ROLE
To join an established Insurance independent broker in Lancashire to build up and maintain a commercial book of business with support from the Account Handling team.
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years experience handling most aspects of Commercial Insurance
- An excellent knowledge of the UK general Insurance market
- Qualified by examination an advantage but not essential with a proven track record
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and maintain those relationships
- Good existing relationships although a proven Commercial Insurance sales track record is always considered. Where appropriate an existing bank of business to migrate either immediately or at the end of a covenant period would be an advantage.
- A full UK driving licence.
SKILLS
- Cert CII Qualified or a willingness to work towards this
- Strong organisational skills
- Acturis experience
- Great communicator and team player
DAYTODAY
- Ability to generate new leads and win new business
- Maintain a book of longterm existing clients
- Working to targets and keen eye for attention to detail
