Job Description

This intermediate level position gathers and analyzes various supply chain functional data in order to optimizethe of supply chain activities.
- Performs analysis and reporting on supply chain activities that may include but are not limited to: strategic sourcing market intelligence materials contracts supplier information supplier performance metrics and compliance under general supervision
- Gathers tracks and creates tools to report data related to spend savings key performance indicators and supplier or departmental performance
- Identifies and resolves data governanceissues with key stakeholders
- Responds to internal and external inquiries and collaborates with senior level staff on various supply chain functions as needed
- Assists with the organizationand standardization documentation in support of various supply chain activities
- Identifies and supports continuous improvement initiatives to drive value lower costs and allow for more efficient operations across all aspects of supply chain
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Intermediate knowledge of systems such as Systems Applications Programs (SAP)and Ariba
- Intermediate knowledge of supply chain concepts (demand planning forecasting spend analytics strategic sourcing process continuous improvement inventory management procurement)
- Intermediate understanding of Excel and other analytical tools
- Ability to perform analysis on large sets of data to draw conclusions to improve business operations
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelors degree from accredited university Supply Chain Management or related field
Minimum: 2 5 years related work experience
