JOB TITLE: Recovery Support Specialist
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time 40 hours/week

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: New Life Center
CHRs New Life Center is a Residential Substance Abuse Treatment program designed to accommodate women with substance abuse and cooccurring mental health disorders who have infants toddlers under the age of 4yo and/or expectant mothers. Children reside in the facility with their Mothers in order to promote a healthy parental bond with the focus of developing effective parenting skills. Estimated length of stay is 46 months with the goal of preparing for a healthy and safe substance free lifestyle. DCF involved Mothers welcomed. Mothers and infants receive medical care at Day Kimball Hospital and Recovery Monitoring and Support to successfully reduce opioid and high risk substance misuse for clients ages 1221 and their families.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Lived experience establishing and maintaining recovery from mental health or substance
use condition(s) as required by position.
Experience: 2 years working with identified populations and specifically as an RSS preferred. Self
identifies as an individual with mental health and or substance use disorder in long term recovery.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Recovery Support Specialist Certification from Advocacy
Unlimited Recovery Coach Certification from CCAR or an equivalent certification related to the field of
Recovery Support required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Valid Drivers License required.CPR & First Aid Certification required OR must obtain within 90 days of employment.

COMPENSATION*:
$18.3818/hr minimum and up commensurate upon experience.
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience and internal equity as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or signon incentives. (Please note for parttime positions this range would be prorated based on hours worked)
