Job Description
The Horticulture Program Assistant is responsible for managing the volunteers serving in the Master Gardener program. This includes website maintenance managing the email listserv upkeep of data in the volunteer management system and program planning. This position will also handle the daytoday response to inquiries (telephone calls walkins electronic contacts) regarding horticulture gardening and entomology.
Required Qualifications
Experience communicating information to others; ability to recruit and direct volunteers; experience maintaining accurate legible records; ability to communicate with staff of other agencies; ability to work effectively without close supervision; must have own transportation with valid operators license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred horticulture experience or interest however not required.
