This role supports the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery ensuring the smooth execution of communications media engagement marketing initiatives and administrative functions. It involves managing digital content organizing events overseeing budgets and working closely with internal teams and external partners. The aim is to enhance the department’s visibility and operational efficiency while contributing to its overall success.
What you'll be doing
Maintain and coordinate the calendar of events for the Orthopaedic and Hand departments.
Plan and implement departmental events and outreach programs.
Design and execute marketing plans and patient education materials related to the departments.
Create content for EDMs posters digital screens and social media platforms.
Promote services on digital channels including Facebook Instagram LinkedIn and YouTube.
Update and enhance website content; improve user navigation and include clinician features.
Produce engaging visual content for clinic digital displays (e.g. videos reels).
Monitor SEO trends and effectiveness; refine strategies to improve digital visibility.
Draft communications such as memos briefs and invitations for events.
Support any additional tasks or special projects as directed by the Reporting Officer.
What we're looking for
A degree in Marketing Communications Business Administration or a related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with some familiarity in design software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
