We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of System Monitoring Specialist for our Fredericksburg location.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Be responsible for all Sigma Air Utility compressed air systems through:
- Remote Monitoring
- Remote dialin to the compressor station and evaluate the demand to supply profile.
- Independently act on system alarms and email notifications.
- Proactively coordinate with servicing partners and/or site personnel to address critical alarms including dispatching technicians after hours.
- Monitor service intervals coordinate scheduling of onsite service and maintenance activity.
- Schedule and coordinate site visits for regular systems inspections.
- When required perform site audits to identify potential areas of improvement.
- Analyze data with Kaeser proprietary software to correlate faults to system operation and recognize system trends.
- Provide reports based on analyzed data for escalations and management of site performance.
- Coordinates with the Technical Department to:
- Independently review service intervals and optimize based on site data analysis.
- Provide as necessary real world data for machine service and maintenance lifecycle calculations.
- Evaluate necessary improvement initiatives.
- When necessary supervise site work to assure adherence to the specifications.
- Perform task and supervise activities within the approved budgets and provide justification when cost overruns occur.
- Monitors compressors and compressed air stations outside of SAU as required.
- Remote Monitoring
- Responsible for learning and following all applicable procedures and work instructions relating to the Companys quality and environmental system.
- Performs all other duties assigned by the Manager.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidates background will include:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience 3 years job related experience.
- Good customer service experience.
- Previous experience as a technician troubleshooting or mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Familiar with data processing including graphing and interpretation preferred.
- Understanding of compressed air systems and the application of supply side components preferred.
- Ability to understand and produce/edit technical documents.
- Good communication skills/phone skills required.
- Computer skills including proficiency in Google Workspace.
- SAP experience preferred.
