05The Role:
S&P Global Commodity Insights is seeking candidates for our 12months Apprenticeship program within our Commercial New Business team. This program offers skill development in New Business Management team for Lead generation & qualification activities. The Apprentice will focus on Supporting the New business Team with lead generation cleanup & ensuring all leads opportunities activities contacts customer analysis buying cycle status are accurately and promptly captured.
The Team:
The team is composed of experienced sales professionals. The business has a casual and friendly atmosphere with an entrepreneurial spirit. We value teamwork and it is crucial that you are a team player in order to be successful within our organization.
Responsibilities:
To support the New Business Team with lead generation cleanup
Actively work on leads and qualify or reject them basis on interaction with prospects & drive a healthy pipeline funnel that is characterized by strong velocity and volume
Research for related customer/market intelligence
Geographic Whitespace analysis Reporting
Monthly activity reporting with feedback on leads
Ensures all leads opportunities activities contacts customer analysis buying cycle status are accurately and promptly captured.
Continuous learning to maintain a high level of relevant domain/product knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with customers and prospects
What were looking for:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration Sales or Marketing; freshers will be preferred.
Broad understanding of the energy & commodity industry including understanding the personas of front mid and back office functions as well as analysts is preferred.
Strong Critical thinking research and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation (verbal/ written) skills in English.
Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an everchanging environment.
