Summary
For the SelfProtection Engineering department we are looking for a Head of Ground Based SelfProtection Engineering (f/m/d) at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.The Ground Based SelfProtection Engineering department is a development department responsible for sensors and systems for the selfprotection of land vehicles. The departments tasks range from technology development to conceptual design product development and delivery as well as customer support during integration commissioning and use.
Your Tasks
Disciplinary technical and organizational management of the SelfProtection Systems Ground department with a team of around 25 employees
Promotion of a teamoriented collegial and resultsoriented way of thinking and working
Acquisition support evaluation of customer requirements creation of technical concepts for development services and the associated cost and schedule planning
Responsibility for cost estimates as well as planning and implementation of commissioned development projects / services within the agreed quality time and cost framework
Ensuring crosssectional development and use of technologies architectures building blocks and tools
Creating budget personnel and resource plans for the area of responsibility in coordination with the programs and neighboring departments
Creating technology development plans and helping to shape the product strategy and roadmaps in coordination with the product managers
Your Profile
Completed scientific or technical studies
Strong interest in transformational leadership behavior and several years of leadership experience in teams or projects
Ability to integrate and motivate interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
Strong leadership skills and ability to cooperate
Open mindset inspiring nature clear value and results orientation
Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking strong assertiveness and good communication skills even in conflict situations
Business fluent in German and English
