Job Description
Omdia a key brand within Informa TechTarget is a research subscription and consulting business who are global leaders in Service Provider Media Technology Manufacturing and Semiconductor industries. To further grow in 2025 and beyond were looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our APAC team.
You will play a major role in growing Omdias Chinese business and work to generate revenue by developing opportunities via phone email and social messaging for the Omdia sales team.
Our training program will prepare you to be an effective and successful Sales Development Representative (SDR) by building sales skills and learning about Omdias product offerings. You will have direct exposure to management and be a part of the fastest growing part of our business. As a meritbased company we reward strong performance and you will have the opportunity to rapidly advance your career.
Responsibilities:
- Making outbound sales calls against an assigned territory
- Leveraging a variety of sales tools to engage target prospects
- Managing social media tools for inbound prospect development
- Interacting with target prospects and providing high level value proposition
- Generating qualified leads and setting sales appointments
- Managing and updating prospecting status via CRM (Salesforce)
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree
- Previous work experience as SDR/BDR/ISR at an international company
- Good verbal and written English language skills
- Strong work ethic committed to building a career in the high paying field of sales
- High energy mentality
- Thrive in meritbased environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media vehicles (Linked In Twitter Facebook)
