Scope
The HR Lead will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function within the organization ensuring that HR strategies align with the NGOs mission values and goals. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies fostering a positive work environment managing talent acquisition employee development and maintaining compliance with labor laws.
Education:
MBA HR Full Time
Experience
6 years of postqualification experience in Human Resources
Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience working with nonprofit organizations prior experience of managing a team offer minimum 2 yrs
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the Indus Action mission and objectives.
Collaborate with the leadership team to shape organizational culture and foster employee engagement.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent aligned with the organizations values.
Develop and manage onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
Create succession plans to ensure continuity of leadership and key roles.
Employee Relations:
Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HR matters.
Develop and maintain employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
Address employee concerns and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and use feedback to improve organizational practices
Learning & Development:
Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Promote continuous learning opportunities that align with the NGOs needs.
Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
Develop review and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with best practices.
Performance Management:
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to monitor and improve employee performance.
Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance reviews.
Compensation & Benefits:
Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs that are equitable and competitive.
Ensure that compensation practices support the organizations budget and financial goals.
Diversity Equity and Inclusion:
Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
Develop initiatives that ensure equity and inclusiveness in all HR practices.
Technical Skills
Strong administrative and communication skills
Organized proactive and processoriented approach
HR Reporting Skills and prior knowledge of HR softwares is preferred
Training and Development Skills
Ability to develop and implement initiatives that promote employee engagement boost morale and create a positive work environment to enhance staff satisfaction and retention.

Compensation
The compensation will be based on the Indus Actions compensation bench marking rubric. The range of compensation will be depending on the qualifications experience and fit to the role.
The candidate would need to use his/her own laptop and the organization will bear the annual maintenance cost up to 12000 per year as per actuals.
Full-Time
