Job Description
Salary: Grade D EPer annum/prorata 12.6513.47 per hour pro rata) depending on experience MDSA Grade B.26 per hour pro rata)
Hours of work:
Role 1: 8.45am12.00pm TA 16 hours 15 minutes) and 12.00pm12.30pm MDSA 2 hours 30 minutes)
Role 2: 12.30pm1.00pm MDSA 11hours 15 minutes) and 1.00pm3.15pm TA 2 hours 3 minutes)
Contract type: Specific Purpose term time only

We are seeking to appoint two experienced Teaching Assistants/MDSAs to support a child at St Johns Catholic Primary School.
The successful candidate will be someone who
- Supports the Catholic ethos of our school knowing all are welcome.
- Has experience working with children who have complex special educational needs including ASD
- Has experience of working onetoone with children in EYFS/KS1
- Is professional flexible and able to work collaboratively with other members of the staff team.
- Is an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community.
- Is patient and understanding when working with children.
- Has a good knowledge of how to support learning and has practical ideas on how to achieve this.
- Has a willingness to undertake training including Team Teach
- Has experience of using deescalation techniques
- Has excellent behaviour management skills
- Is enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
