Job Description

Working Student (m/f/d) at a Revolutionary Quantum Computing Startup

Technical support for the UHV laboratory

Want to shape the future of technology Join Quantum Brilliance a GermanAustralian startup thats revolutionizing the world with mobile quantum computers! Our mission To create a mini quantum computer that will completely change how we perceive and utilize quantum computing.

What we do:
In Freiburg were working on the heart of our quantum computer a diamondbased quantum chip. With atomic precision we create defects in the diamond to make the next generation of computers a reality. You will work alongside our tech team which is responsible for the design procurement and installation of new equipment maintaining the operation of existing instruments and implementing safety protocols.

Your tasks

  • Possible tasks include but are not limited to: CAD design of (UHV) components installation of UHV components and instruments maintenance of the equipment as well as support in procuring new equipment and creation of training material and manuals.
  • We will tailor your tasks to match your skills and interests this is your chance to gain experience and add your own ideas!

What you should bring

  • Youre a student (university in physics mechanical engineering chemistry materials science or other technical or engineering courses
  • You have experience in CAD design software such as Autodesk Fusion 360 or others
  • Be proficient in the English language

The position is limited to one year with the option to extend. We offer a minimum of 14/hour with a maximum of 80 working hours per month.
