Job Description

Student Assistant for Business Finance

Joining Business Finance

Business Finance provides comprehensive financial planning analysis and reporting services alongside expert financial advice and support to Rambolls markets. You will join the Business Finance team dedicated to supporting the Energy market. The team consists of 12 employees located across five countries. Your workplace will be at our head office in Copenhagen.

The Position

You will report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering Energy and your key responsibilities will be to assist with relevant Business Finance tasks. These include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
  • Participate and assist in monthend closing activities
  • Support Finance Business Partners with daytoday operations and administrative tasks
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Help with the preparation of financial presentations
  • Collaborate with project controllers and department managers to ensure correct financial records
  • Participate in adhoc projects and tasks as needed
  • Learn and apply industry best practices under the mentorship of experienced professionals

The position is designed for 1520 hours per week.

Your Qualifications

Preferably you are studying a Bachelors degree on your 2nd or 3rd year or just about to start your Masters degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or a similar field.

Furthermore we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • Structured and collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrate drive and keen attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Techsavvy with a flair for IT experience with BI tools is an advantage
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and not afraid to embrace opportunities when given the chance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
