Job Description
The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a fulltime faculty member in the sectionof Heart Failure Heart Transplant and MCS. Candidates withsubspecialty training are preferred. Candidatesshould have completed a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.Theposition includes teachingmedical studentsresidents and fellows with opportunities for research.The inpatient service follows a multidisciplinary team approach to inpatient management. We provide subspecialty services in pulmonary hypertension Amyloid and HOCM in addition to heart transplantation durable and nondurable MCS.Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
To be considered qualified candidates must be:
- MD/DO
- BC/BE
- Fellowship trained
- Successful record of clinical and service excellence research experience and interest in graduate medical education
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
