Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality radiation treatments to oncology patients using state-of-the-art equipment and treatment planning systems. This is a 13-week travel assignment working weekday shifts in an adult acute care oncology setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

Administer accurate safe and effective radiation therapy as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist

Utilize advanced imaging modalities (CBCT kV/mV) for tumor localization and treatment precision
-
Execute treatment plans using systems such as Eclipse (Varian) or Pinnacle (Philips)
-
Fabricate and apply custom blocks wedges and molds
-
Monitor patient conditions and respond to adverse reactions or emergency codes as needed

Document treatments and observations in Epic (required)

Float to similar oncology or therapy units as necessary

Follow strict radiation safety and infection control protocols

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist

Epic charting experience required
-
Must have experience delivering IMRT and external beam radiation therapy

Must be comfortable with tumor localization techniques and patient setup

RTO must be submitted at time of profile

Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2-week pay period
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
First-time travelers are accepted
License & Certifications:

ARRT (T) Required

BLS Required

State License Must be active at time of submission (pending not accepted)
