Summary:
We are seeking a certified CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in a high-volume acute care setting. This role involves advanced CT imaging procedures using GE equipment and PACS with a 1:1 tech-to-patient workflow. First-time travelers and candidates with pending Oregon licensure are encouraged to apply. Block scheduling is guaranteed.
Perform routine and complex CT scans across various anatomical areas including head neck chest abdomen pelvis spine and musculoskeletal systems
Utilize advanced image post-processing techniques: 3D rendering multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) ROI measurement
Conduct specialized procedures such as brain perfusion vascular CTA virtual colonography and CT arthrography
Ensure proper patient preparation and safety including contrast media administration and radiation precautions
Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed
Adhere to isolation protocols and follow all infection control guidelines
Document procedures accurately using Epic (preferred)
Must be available for Wed Fri night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) or alternative 4x10 Wed Sat (9:00 PM 7:30 AM)
1 year of recent CT experience in acute care or outpatient setting
Proficient with GE equipment and PACS systems (preferred)
Must be able to work independently with 1:1 tech-to-patient ratio
Travel experience not required first-time travelers accepted
Must hold or be in the process of obtaining Oregon State license (if applicable)
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of CT imaging experience
First-time travelers welcome
License & Certifications:
ARRT (CT) Required
BLS Required
Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License Required or pending
Venipuncture certification or competency Preferred
Imaging & Processing:
3D rendering MPR ROI analysis
CT studies: brain spine trauma chest vascular enterography musculoskeletal cardiac
Clinical Procedures:
Administer IV contrast and prep patients
Perform biopsies aspirations and drainage (preferred)
Follow radiation safety and isolation protocols
