Job Description

Reporting to the Manager International Logistics the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating international shipments managing inbound destination logistics preparing customs documentation and validating logisticsrelated invoices. This role involves close collaboration with team members and external partners to ensure efficient and costeffective logistics operations.

Accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Coordinate international shipments including reviewing and validating shipment information monitoring and updating shipments in transit trace and track
  • Destination management for inbound shipments including planning of drayage movements in the Transportation Management System (TMS) updating inbound container delivery schedules and ensuring shipments are delivered within free time and avoiding demurrage/storage costs
  • Preparing customs documentation for crossborder shipments including creation of customs invoices using customs brokers systems providing other required documentation (SIMP harvest data selfcertification letters cheese imports etc.
  • Reviewing validating and approving international logisticsrelated invoices including uploading documentation validating and ensuring charges are correct coding invoices in Tungsten for all vendors
  • Assisting in coordination of international shipments at origin with freight forwarders ocean carriers suppliers and HLF Procurement groups
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting requirements as needed

Qualifications

  • Related postsecondary education or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Operations or related areas preferred
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations Logistics and Warehouse systems and processes etc.
  • Proficiency in maximizing utilization of ERP systems preferably as a Power User of a major systems application such as JD Edwards Oracle SAP etc.
  • Experience with TMS systems such as E2Open etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with IT on enhancements or problems with the ERP system application and/or request reports and modifications necessary to improve the operation or correct issues.
  • Proficiency in software (Microsoft Excel etc. for performing analysis and reporting results.
  • Ability to effectively analyze data to support informed decision making.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
