About the role
Mater Rockhampton is seeking an Administration Manager to join the team on a fulltime 6month maximum term contract running until November 2025 with the possibility of extension/permanent position. This role will be responsible for leading administration services across Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton.
Salary range: $61.20 $65.56 per hour (MCAS 6 plus 11.5 superannuation andaccess to notforprofit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
The Administration Manager will manage and coordinate the Administration functions of the Hospital ensuring that they efficiently and effectively support the service and strategic objectives of the clinical teams and the Hospital with a focus on the patient care experience. Through this role the Manager provides strong leadership in upholding Maters Mission Vision and Values aligning the operational plans of these services to the Mater Health Strategic Objectives.
This role will manage all elements of these Services benchmarking to maintain efficient processes systems staffing and knowledge that supports excellence in patient care and experience. The Manager is responsible for optimal performance in service delivery by embedding a culture of continuous improvement within the team. This includes identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency through the use of technology critical analysis and redesign of administration processes to support overall improvement in organisational performance.
Strong internal relationships are essential to the success of this role and will ensure all elements of these services are responsive to the needs of our patients and clinical service areas. The Manager will collaborate closely with other Mater Managers to embed an integrated approach to services and strengthen Mater as a whole.
