Job Description
Liberty Universitys Department of Family & Consumer Sciences invites applications for an adjunct professor in its Event Planning and Professional & Creative Industries Bachelor of Science programs. These programs are growing quickly and the department seeks an individual who is passionate about teaching event planning and career courses. Candidates must embrace Liberty Universitys evangelical mission and be committed to training champions for Christ. Requirements:
- Masters degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in event management hospitality business or a related field
- Demonstrated experience working in the events and creative industries
- Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students
Preferred qualifications:
- Masters or terminal degree in meeting and event management or a related field
- Previous teaching experience in higher education or extensive professional experience in the field
