Job Description
Location: North West South Africa
Type: Fulltime permanent
Job Overview:
Hire Resolves Client are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Winder Specialist Electrical to join their mining team in the North West region of South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems on mining equipment including winders and hoists to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure winder availability by minimizing downtime in order to maintain production levels and safety standards.
- Ensure winders are complying with the all the winder related COPs regulations and standards.
- Revise winder COPs with relevant stakeholders.
- Determine the winder specifications together with the relevant consultants and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) about new equipment and ensure compliance during and after installation.
- Ensure winders and associated equipment are sustainable
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Electrician Trade Certificate
- National N Diploma
- 5 years in commissioning fault finding and maintenance on Winders in a mining environment.
