The job opportunity:

The Budget Advisor Compensation position is an essential Budget Division team member that supports governmentwide budget development and analysis for the Governor OFM Director and the OFM Budget Director.

As a Budget Advisor you will coordinate with OFM budget advisors state human resources and legislative fiscal committees on development of budget and policy recommendations to the Governor. You will also analyze complex fiscal issues assist agencies in problem solving budget development implementation assess impacts of proposed legislation and act as a source of fiscal policy information. You will support governmentwide budget development and analysis for the Governor Office of Financial Management Director and the OFM Budget Director.
