Job Summary:
Monaco Ford is seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team in Niantic Connecticut. As a Diesel Technician you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of diesel vehicles including trucks vans and buses. This job also involves diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engine issues and providing topnotch customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on diesel vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues and provide effective and efficient solutions
Perform inspections and identify any potential problems with the vehicles
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services provided
Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
Operate various tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic in the auto industry required Ford experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fastpaced environment
Must possess a valid drivers license and have a clean driving record
