Job Description

Sapiens UK is seeking VP of Business Unit for our Life & Pensions Division based in Cardiff to become a trusted advisor and strategic partner driving innovative solutions and empowering clients to achieve their business goals.

Our successful candidate will work with customers to develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and priorities. You will use this knowledge to foster and propose solutions and services that improve the clients efficiency enable competitiveness streamline processes and reduce expenses.

You will understand the capabilities of the solutions within the Sapiens portfolio and work to articulate a solutions value differentiate its capabilities and develop an effective client value proposition with the objective of maximizing Sapienss value.

This position holds overall responsibility & accountability for all Sapiens delivery provided to customers on time in high quality within budget and to customer satisfaction.

Business focus:

  • Constantly driving to grow the Sapiens business within the account.
  • Managing and Improving the P&L.
  • Building Longterm Relationships with our customers.
  • Understanding Customer Needs & leveraging customer pain points into opportunities for value creation.
  • Collaborating Closely with Sales: proactively drive the Land & Expand strategy and identify crossselling opportunities to achieve accounts sustainable business growth.
  • Manage endtoend Upsell processes with sales support as needed.
  • Developing and Executing the Accounts Strategy with Sales.

focus:

  • Governance of teams to ensure high quality of delivery according to the project plan.
  • Responsible for meeting the accounts financial targets and contractual agreement.
  • Risk assessment and manage mitigations.
  • Promote collaboration and teamwork with internal stakeholders.
  • Point of escalation to any delivery process emerged in the accounts.
  • Act as a customer advocate within Sapiens and promote a customerfocused culture.

Key Requirements:

  • 15 years management experience (staff and budget responsibility) within a global enterprise software solutions company.
  • Proven experience of:
    • Leading international clients and engagement teams through the delivery of complex software solutions on large scales >30M$;
    • Successful solution delivery with demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects juggling competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
    • Growing business within existing customer accounts handson as well as by leading a team of customer managers.
  • Seasoned manager with the ability to hire mentor coach and develop a globally dispersed highperforming team.
  • Experience and knowledge of Life & Pension software solutions Advantage.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to serve as a trusted advisor to Clevel customer executives.
  • Personality mindset and investment approach that fits well with an entrepreneurial growing firm with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
