The Payment Services Executive will be responsible for ensuring all outbound payments are processed in accordance with policies and procedures. Reporting to the Senior Manager Payment Services responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring mailboxes closely for payment requests and ensure they are actioned promptly efficiently accurately and in accordance with Policy/Process.
- Liaising with relevant business areas to rectify any issues with the payment being requested.
- Understanding contingency processes including sanction screening in place to process outbound payments.
- Ensuring all paperwork and emails are properly maintained in conjunction with department processes GDPR and audit requirements.
- Promoting best practice and enhancement of the customer journey by continuous improvement analysis and recommendations.
- Communicating and escalating potential issues/risks in a prompt and effective manner.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience of working within a Banking operations environment is essential.
- Able to demonstrate strong accuracy & attention to detail.
- Self motivated.
- Able to work under pressure and within deadlines.
- Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel Word).
