Job Description

With the guidance of the Sr. Director Leadership Development you will:

Manage the entire product development lifecycle for leadership development learning products that ensure the organization has the capabilities to compete in the future by:

  • Using humancentered design methodology to discover synthesize and clearly articulate Visa leaders development needs. Translating needs into leadership development solutions in a mix of modalities inclusive of and not limited to live and asynchronous virtual learning inperson social learning and more
  • Using your design expertise and breadth of knowledge of external leadership development resources to design curate or buyand customizeforVisa the most impactful solutions. You will need to be adept both at designing programs yourself as well as providing strategic direction for work done by select external providers and Visa University designers. You will play a key role in scaling leadership development to maximize opportunities for all Visa leaders to benefit from impactful learning opportunities. You will be mindful of using modalities that work most effectively for engaging audiences at different levels of seniority with an eye to balancing innovative thinking on learning pedagogies with organizational constraints
  • Setting a vision for and using your influencing skills to lead project teams established to ensure the leadership development products you oversee are not only superbly designed but also set up for effective launch and implementation. 

Develop and grow key relationships: 

  • You will skillfully cultivate and grow key internal and external relationships.
  • You will form and engage in productive partnerships with critical internal stakeholders business leaders regional heads of learning and People Business Partners to evangelize the work you do secure sponsorship and scale it effectively across the organization.
  • You will also leverage and continue to grow your wellestablished network of external content providers and experts to ensure Visas leadership development offerings leverage bestinclass thought leadership.
  • You will be versatile in the work you do in the context of these internal and external relationships from ensuring buyin with a senior internal stakeholder to negotiating a contract with an outside provider and everything inbetween.

Improve and Grow Your Portfolio:

  • You will have an opportunity to evolve existing learning solutions and launch new ones.
  • You will leverage your strategic and critical thinking to articulate how the learning solutions you own can evolve into the future. Keeping in mind that the end goal is behavior change and business impact you will devise strategies to ensure that learning sticks and business impact occurs.
  • You will use your creativity and knowledge of adult learning methodology to design impactful mechanisms for postprogram application of program content.
  • You will launch and grow communities of learning to ensure learning occurs beyond the programmatic components.
  • You will leverage the artscience balance to evaluate and constantly improve leadership development at Visa to make it even more impactful for Visas leaders and ultimately for Visas business.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications :

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Extensive experience with designing and curating both internally and with select external providers impactful learning experiences leveraging a variety of modalities to benefit global audiences of leaders across organizational levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills executive presence and ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and evangelize a strategy to stakeholders
  • Keen detail orientation excellent project management and superb planning and organization skills to lead a concept from inception to . Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated learning agility with a variety of content areas and modalities. While you will rely on your experience you will also need to master new content areas and new ways of doing things quickly
  • Strong business acumen analytical and problemsolving skills
  • You are passionate about providing impactful learning experiences to leaders at all organizational levels globally
  • You are both a thinker and a doer and can constantly switch between the two balancing big picture thinking with detailed
  • You are excited and curious by developments in technology and how it can be used effectively to enhance leader and manager skills. You love to experiment and push boundaries
  • You are resilient and flexible you perceive false starts changing priorities and constructive feedback as opportunities not setbacks
  • You are curious and broad in your orientation. You are knowledgeable and uptodate not only on whats current in leadership and executive development but also like to understand the industry and business environment in which you operate

Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $129200.00 to $210800.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
