Job Description
The responsibility of the JBS Compliance team is to maintain a strong internal control environment for Janssen Belgium. We support JBS colleagues and business partners on the Campus in implementing financial controls in their processes. Our team also coordinates internal and external financial audits and performs the audit of the Pan European Pension fund. Next to that we are actively involved in many projects to implement new tools and processes and in the development of training materials.
The JBS Belgium Compliance team has a vacancy for a Senior Financial Analyst.
By joining our team you will contribute to ensure Sox compliant processes for Janssen Belgium. In this role youll be in contact with a mix of stakeholders on the Janssen Pharma sites in Belgium. You will collaborate to improve or set up controls and can add value by implementing efficient processes that cover all compliance requirements. Youll connect with JBS compliance colleagues located in the sites of Allschwil Cork Leiden and Zug and liaise with PWC and the colleagues of Internal Audit to align on compliance topics. Through these interactions youll get a deeper insight in the broader Finance organization and quickly build up a good understanding of the JNJ Worldwide Financial Procedures and reporting requirements.
The main responsibilities of this job are:
Liaise with business partners to implement financial controls and compliance standards
Assist in the interpretation of compliance requirements
Maintain the JBS global and local SOPs
Coordinate the financial audits of PWC and CIA
Maintain the SOX DCMs in Metric Stream
Participate in projects to implement tools and process improvements
Connect with JBS compliance colleagues in shared initiatives
- Create and provide training on compliance topics to maintain Sox awareness
Our new colleague has a strong technical finance background or the wish to develop further in this area. He / she has a genuine interest in financial processes and how these are best implemented. The ideal candidate is a team player with handson mentality and has excellent communication skills.

Ability to understand (complex) policies and procedures and to balance business and compliance requirements
- Excellent writing skills
Masters degree in Economics Finance Audit or equivalent through experience
Fluency in English and preferably Dutch
