Job Description
The Level 1 Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the specified quality standards set by G&H Diversified Manufacturing. This role involves inspecting raw materials inprocess production and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inspect Raw Materials: Examine incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Monitor Production: Oversee production stages to uphold consistent quality standards.
- Conduct Tests: Perform durability functionality and safety tests on products using standardized methods.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspections noting deviations or defects found.
- Communicate Defects: Report identified defects to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions.
- Verify Compliance: Ensure products meet industry standards company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Improve Processes: Propose improvements to the production process to enhance product quality.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Good communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with the production team.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise dust and varying temperatures.
