Job Description

*Please note this is a corporate position based out of either our Columbia SC or Greenville SC retail store.The Retail Store Intern will be responsible in assisting with the daily operations customer service sales management events and visual merchandising of Southern Tide retail store. During this time they will gain handson experience and insights on what it takes to manage a successful store. As the Retail Store Intern the majority of the internship will be working on our sales floor. They will work closely with the Store Manager on learning business and management skills in a variety of settings.
Crew Position:
- Gain an understanding of the overall concept and brand of Southern Tide including the lifestyle the customer the merchandise etc.
- Participate with delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Assist with daytoday front/back of house operations.
- Participate with visual floor sets.
- Consistently meet department store and individual productivity goals by building relationships with customers.
- Provide ideas to grow and improve the business. This may include ideas for merchandising marketing floor displays advertising promotions or any other ideas which may improve and grow the business.
- Perform other duties as required by store management.

Addition Info:
- This is a paid internship with approximate dates of June 2025 through August 2025.
- Candidate will be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship full availability preferred.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Retail Management Merchandising Business or related field.
