We are currently working with one of the countrys most successful and respected supermarket groups known for their market-leading standards and commitment to exceptional fresh food retailing.
We are now seeking a Senior Store Manager to lead operations at one of their flagship locations in the South East one of the busiest and most high-profile stores in this award winning group.
This is a premier opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Supermarket Manager with a passion for fresh food and team leadership. You will oversee a large fast-paced store with a team of over 80 employees including department heads and a highly regarded fresh food division.
As Store Manager you will play a critical role in driving commercial performance maintaining exceptional standards and inspiring a high-energy customer-focused team. Youll be at the forefront of a business known for excellence innovation and long-term career development.

Package & Benefits
Salary: up to 65000 DOE including 25 days annual leave and other co perks.
Responsibilities for this Retail Store Manager Job:
- Oversee the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the retail store ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across all departments and overall premises.
- Drive the stores commercial performance by maximising profitability and sales while effectively controlling key cost areas such as waste shrinkage and labour.
- Lead and develop the team to deliver exceptional standards in merchandising customer service and hygiene maintaining and enhancing the brands reputation.
- Manage all HR and Health & Safety matters within the store ensuring full compliance with employment legislation company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements for this Retail Store Manager Job:
- Proven experience as a Retail Grocery Manager or senior Assistant Manager in a comparable retail food environment high turnover commercial and big box preferably with a minimum of 5 years in senior grocery management.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead develop and motivate teams including Assistant Managers Supervisors deli chargehands and other senior staff.
- Commercially astute with a track record of identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth managing costs effectively and leveraging supplier relationships to benefit the business.
- Solid working knowledge of Labour Law Health & Safety regulations HACCP and Consumer Law.
