Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Management of the health and safety performance in area of responsibility
- Planning of short medium and longterm mining activities
- Management of production budget
- Management of personnel (attendance leave training supervision etc. cost of production (rand/ton) and achieving or exceeding the production budgets
- Management of the lamp rooms and control room including all safety equipment that is used underground
- Control of all underground conveyor systems
- Control of operations and running of machinery as well as erection reerection and removal of machinery underground
- Grade 12
- Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency for Fiery Mines
- Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines
- 5 years experience on a Coal Mine
